About Us: 

ENG Media are looking to establish a weekly newspaper for the Broken Hill area “Broken Hill Times”. Our aim is to help to keep locals informed on local/national/world happenings and promote community activities including sport. ENG Media is a dynamic and innovative media company dedicated to delivering local news to local people and advertising solutions to local businesses. Our mission is to help local businesses thrive by connecting them with their target audiences through effective advertising strategies. We are looking for a motivated and talented Advertising Sales Executive to join our team in Broken Hill.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their advertising needs are met and expectations are exceeded. 

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching and reaching out to potential clients. 

• Conduct consultative sales meetings with clients to understand their advertising needs and recommend tailored solutions. 

• Oversee the implementation of advertising campaigns, ensuring they run smoothly and deliver desired results in print and online. 

Qualifications: 

• Preferably a minimum of 2 years of sales experience in advertising or media sales. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong negotiation and closing skills. 

• Highly motivated and able to work independently. 

• Ability to build and maintain a network of contacts. 

• Familiarity with the Broken Hill area and local businesses is a plus.
